Xinhua News Agency, Washington, April 29 (Reporter Xiong Maoling) US President Trump signed an announcement on the 29th, allowing a certain degree of compensation for auto producers that import auto parts and assemble cars in the United States. This latest move reflects the continuous opposition from all sectors of the United States to the government's tariff policy, putting increasing pressure on the government.

According to the announcement, this compensation is used to offset part of the tariffs on auto parts assembled in the United States. The maximum compensation amount can reach 3.75% of the auto retail price, and this compensation cap will be reduced to 2.5% of the auto retail price in the second year.

The 25% tariff on imported cars previously announced by Trump officially came into effect on April 3, and the measure to impose a 25% tariff on key auto parts is scheduled to take effect on May 3.
